Tooled by hand in a fourth-generation workshop just off Souk al-Hamidiyeh in Damascus. The pattern — a continuous interlocking vine — is stamped, not printed, into vegetable-tanned cowhide that's been soaked, shaped, and burnished over the course of a single afternoon.
The buckle is solid cast brass from the same workshop, with the maker's mark on the back. Edges are slicked with beeswax. Comes ready to wear at 36" and can be cut down on request.
This belt will last decades. The leather will deepen and pick up the marks of how you live in it.
